In Mexico, at the end of April 12, 4,661 cases of people infected with COVID have been confirmed19, while deaths caused by this virus are recorded by 296 people, on the other hand, there are 8,697 suspected cases, with which at least 15% of respondents already know someone infected with the virus.

According to the fourth installment of #CoronaTracking, a digital survey that is conducted every week since the Coronavirus-based health contingency was confirmed, the percentage of Mexicans with known acquaintances increased in just one week by five percent. In this new edition, one of the results that has varied the most is the number of people who know someone infected with the coronavirus, since in the previous edition, 10% of Mexicans knew between 1 to 3 people infected with Covid19, while that in this fourth installment, 15% know at least someone infected with the virus.

53% of the participants commented that in this period they have not attended any public place, while 45% have attended crowded places in the last seven days out of necessity. In addition, 31% of respondents already stopped doing all their daily activities (an increase of 6% compared to the previous delivery) and only 15% continue to carry out their daily routine, a decrease of 3% compared to the previous survey. In fact, 66% consider this issue to be something serious, but it still has not gotten out of control, contrary to 23% who consider that this issue is something very serious that has already got out of control.
