The councilor, Arturo Chavarria, proposed to mayors of Metepec, Lerma, Ocoyoacac and San Mateo Atenco regulations applicable for the correct use of the PASEO TOLLOCAN avenue. This, in order to remove unnecessary infrastructure that does not contribute anything to the Mexican entity, such as the monument to a maximum leader hierarchy in the State of Mexico.

In a press conference, the fourth council member, Arturo Chavarría Sánchez, expressed the importance of maintaining and eliminating those unnecessary elements that are along Paseo Tollocan Avenue, since apart from not providing symbolism or identity to the state, it hinders the connectivity with the surrounding areas.

Due to the congestion that usually appears in its route, along the 14.85 km of length of Paseo Tollocan, he proposed to dismantle the monument to Carlos Hank González, which he affirmed is not symbolic in the history of the State of Mexico, although he is considered the highest leader of PRI in the state.
