Another explosion in Tultepec

Authorities of the State of Mexico confirmed the explosion of pyrotechnic material that was allegedly illegally stored in a private home in the municipality of Tultepec. A woman of approximately 27 years of age died, while a man, 33 years old, was injured.
The event took place in a private house located on Alcanfores Street No. 7, Tlamelalcas neighborhood, in Tultepec, where the explosion affected an area of approximately 100 square meters.
According to the emergency body report, the man who was injured was taken to the Regional Hospital of High Specialty of Zumpango, where he already receives medical attention.
To the place came elements of the State and municipal Police, Civil Protection of the municipality, personnel of the Regional Center of operations Tultepec and the Mexican Institute of Pyrotechnics (Imepi).
Personnel of the State Attorney General's Office are already at the scene to carry out the corresponding investigations and determine the causes of this accident.
