After an intense discussion the members of the commissions governing units and constitutional points of the Local Congress, approved the opinion so that the birth certificates issued by the Civil Registry have permanent validity in the State of Mexico. This will benefit millions of families with the start of the next school year.
The proposal of the deputy of Morena, Anais Miriam Burgos Hernandez, was approved unanimously vote in commissions, for which it only needs to be approved in plenary, although the law does not establish any deadline. The proposal said that schools, institutions and authorities at all levels stop requesting certified copies valid for only three months.
During the session of the commissions units of opinion, came to light the use of the "machines" that issue birth certificates and that have been granted since 2015, to the company "Cifo Tecnologies SA de CV", according to the appointed by the general director of the Civil Registry, César Enrique Sánchez Millán, and the fiscal attorney of the Ministry of Finance, José Manuel Miranda Álvarez, present at the session.
