Ecatepec police rescue a 4-year-old girl who was beaten by her mother and stepfather

Elements of the Directorate of Public Safety and Traffic of Ecatepec detained a woman and a man for their probable participation in the crime of injuries, who apparently beat a four-year-old girl on the public highway, in the Colonia Estrella neighborhood East.
According to the local authorities during a surveillance tour on Calle Sol from the community, municipal police officers noticed the aggression of a couple of adults towards the minor. So they immediately approached to prevent them from continuing. When arriving at the outskirts of the building, the uniformed ones observed that the minor suffered convulsions as a result of the multiple blows and kicks that were given by her mother and stepfather.
The two persons identified as Verónica "N" and Ricardo "N", aged 24 and 19 respectively, were detained and transferred to the Specialized Agency for Sexual, Family and Gender Violence (Ampevis) of the Attorney General's Office Justice of the State of Mexico based in Ecatepec, where its legal status will be determined.
