Commune transparency lags behind on its first 100 days


While the first one hundred days of the municipal new administrations are concluded there are still lags behind on matters of clearness, the president of Instituto de Transparencia, Acceso a la Información Pública y Protección de Datos Personales (Infoem) acknowledged. Zulema Martínez, who signalled that this month will begin the verification of the official web sites of the city halls, and many of them haven’t been updated yet. Neither directories nor data related to the income of the authorities.

According to the commissioner, the backwardness may be due to that more than 50% of the city halls who just came in, renewed its people of the transparency units. Which hasn’t stopped that the authorities begin a new updating and training process before the INFOEM.
