IEEM AND CODHEM CELEBRATE START OF THE HUMAN RIGHTS AND DEMOCRACY

The Electoral Institute of the State of Mexico (IEEM) and the Human Rights Commission of the State of Mexico (Codhem) celebrated the start of the Human Rights and Democracy Diploma, thus coordinating joint academic activities to maintain and continue the development of the democratic life of the State of Mexico and build citizenship.
During the ceremony, the IEEM President Councilor, Pedro Zamudio Godínez stressed that it is an activity that derives from the signing of the Collaboration Agreement carried out on May 7 between both institutions, which is given continuity with the beginning of the diploma, which will be taught in person, adding a total of 120 effective hours of which 48 will be taught in the classroom and 72 will be the responsibility of independent study of each of the students.
He explained that the teachers were selected in strict gender parity, that is; 3 men and 3 women, who have a PhD degree, and / or belong to the National System of Researchers, as well as from the Autonomous University of the State of Mexico (UAEMex), the Center for Economic Research and Teaching, CIDE and from the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM).
In turn, the President of the Codhem, Jorge Olvera García, commented that, with this alliance, the commitment to ensure that every act of authority respects the principles of the rule of law is resumed, to undertake affirmative actions of investigation and teaching of rights Human and democracy.
