Colonial procession in tribute to Sor Juana and Ruiz de Alarcon *June 2nd Sunday

Toluca’s city hall and the group Infantería of classical theater, invite the habitants to the Colonial Procession in tribute to Sor Juana and Juan Ruiz de Alarcon, called “Primero sueño y te regalo las estrellas” a play and discussion on Sunday June 2, from 11:30 am on the historical center.
The activities will begin on the Alfeñique museum where the processon will exit to walk over Independencia, Humboldt, and the walkway Constitución on where at 1:00pm will be presented the play “La niña que riega la albahaca” made by students of the Escuela de Iniciación Artistica from the INBAL, directed by Luis E. Barrera.
The procession will go on Los Portales to arrive to the square Fray Andres de Castro, where, again, the play will be presented at 2:10pm and then, go back to the Alfeñique museum.
