GEM extends the environmental contingency rating in 16 towns in the Valley of Toluca

As a result of the authorization of Environmental Extraordinary Contingency for PM2.5 in the Metropolitan Zone of the Valley of Mexico, the Secretary of Environment of the Government of the State of Mexico extends the authorization of this step to some cities of the Valley of Toluca.
The towns are Almoloya de Juárez, Calimaya, Chapultepec, Lerma, Metepec, Mexicaltzingo, Ocoyoacac, Otzolotepec, Rayon, San Antonio la Isla, San Mateo Atenco, Temoaya, Tenango del Valle, Toluca, Xonacatlan, and Zinacantepec.
Due to what was mentioned above, the steps were expanded to reduce exposure to polluted air. And the implementation can not go beyond ten hours.
