Begins the rescue of "little white elephants" from the capital

Due to the abandonment and underutilization that present most of the 58 security modules established in the Mexican capital, the councilor and urban planner, Arturo Chavarría Sánchez, considered necessary the recovery of these spaces that have become, as he said, "white elephants" scattered throughout the municipal territory.

Some of these modules, such as the one located in Adolfo López Mateos, have been used by the government of Alfredo del Mazo to promote the colours of their government, but actually, they have abandoned husks and inherited by the past administrations to the new government morenista of the capital.

Owing to this abandonment, the councilman Chavarría Sánchez, proposed to modify them to transform them into "small bunkers" where surveillance can be done without exposing the police.

He recognized that structurally, the design of the modules represent a risk. He estimates that the investment to adjust each module and recover them would not be greater than 90 thousand pesos. READY RESCUES

Interviewed on the matter, the municipal president of Toluca, Juan Rodolfo Sánchez Gómez, assured that a rescue program is prepared for some of these security modules, since he recognized that the majority are abandoned.

He admitted that to make them functional, some adjustments should be made to their structure, therefore the changes that could be adapted are already analyzed.
