There are more than 30 thousand people, who went missing between 2012 and January 2019. A law for Estado de México in matter of forced disappearance on people and disappearance made by particulars.

Between January 2012 and January 2019, the disappearance of people in Estado de México grew to 709%. So the valid papers say that there are 24 217 people who disappeared and another 5868 who are pending to find. Which means there are more than 30 thousand.

These numbers were told by the congresswomen of Morena, Karina Labastida, when she presented the law initiative for missing people in Estado de México. During a session on the Local Congress, she admitted that many of the disappearances are attributed to the armed forces and some others to security forces.

From the people who are still pending to find, at least 2812 are women and 3056 are men. Nevertheless, in almost every case, the authorities are not trying to find them.

SHARED RESPONSIBILITY

The initiative presented by the congresswomen reveals this fearful numbers of the disappearances in Estado de México. While Eruviel’s government was rising and with Alfredo del Mazo in 2018, there were 6471 missing people.

The next table has the data itemized. Which indicates that during the six-year term of Eruviel Avila, there would be at least 16000 people disappeared on Estado de México. And 2018 was a record-breaker on the state with Del Mazo.
