Sexual harassment increases in Metepec 14 times from January 2018 to October 2019

According to the National Executive Secretariat of Public Security, sexual harassment in Metepec tops the list of crimes more frequently, during the periods from January to October 2018 and January to October 2019; which statistically says that they went from one to 15 reported cases, reflecting an increase of 1400%.
Faced with the wave of violence that women have experienced in recent months, and combined with the various movements that have taken place throughout our country in protest to eradicate it. TheObserverMéx inquired about the statistics concerning the municipality of Metepec, around to crimes that affect freedom and sexual security.
The above is added to the fact that during the last month of October, in the twenty-sixth extraordinary session of the town hall of Metepec, the Twelfth Councilor of the City Council, María del Carmen Camacho Lira, was the first to “uncover” the increase in statistics of crimes of a sexual nature within the municipality, for which he stated that the figures are alarming: "It is something that we should feel ashamed of in Metepec," he said.
The above, he said, is a situation that affects the metepequenses and is worrisome.
