Before the protest demonstrations of conservative and right-wing groups, against the initiative to approve equal marriage in the State of Mexico, the leader of the Local Congress and president of the Morena fraction, Maurilio Hernández, anticipated that at the latest next week, the project could be approved by majority vote.
He said that the LX Local Legislature has been open to listen to the diverse voices of society, including opposition. However, he considered that the project would be approved next week.
