Miroslava Breach Velducea who comes from Chinipas in Chihuahua was a Mexican journalist who was recognized for her labour as a researcher and reporter. She had more than 20 years of experience. She worked in journals like El Heraldo de Chihuahua, El diario de Chihuahua, El Norte de Ciudad Juárez, but also she was a stringer of La Jornada and founder of the news agency MIR.

Through her work on diverse communication media, she did various research works. Which helped to make some problematics visible in relation to human rights on indigenous communities on the mountain rage Tarahumara and environmental conflicts. And also femicides on Ciudad Juarez, and forced disappearance. However, she did not just that, she also covered topics like drug dealing on Chihuahua and corruption acts on the six-year term of the former governor Cesar Duarte Jáques.
