The scale of the femicides in Mexico demands the creation of an official and international day to remember the victims of such crimes.
A day to draw attention globally and in every level until justice, compensation and truth is offered to the victims. Meeting!
Peaceful walk against femicides in the State of Mexico and in order to declare November 3rd as the Day of the Female Death, in name of the thousands of victims of femicides and disappearance #NiunaMas
Walk in Ecatepec on November 3rd 2018 at 9:45 am. The walk will start at 10 o´clock in order to start simultaneously all around the country).
The meeting point for the walk will be tracks of the supermarket Chedraui located in JARDINES DE MORELOS ECATEPEC DE MORELOS, MEXICO.
We insist on taking candles, placards, cempasúchil (marigold) flowers and any other type of flowers to the walk.
Schedule:
From the meeting point at 10 o’clock, we will walk all along Jardines de Morelos Avenue until the Montes Church to continue through Nicolas Bravo Avenue until we reach Pie de la Cuesta Avenue where the MEMORIAL shall be placed.
Once in the place, we will settle the offering for the #DayofFemaleDeath
Then we will perform a call of the victims of femicide
As well as of disappeared women
A minute of silence
A minute of applause
WHITE OR PINK CLOTHES ARE REQUIRED FOR ATTENDING THE EVENT.
