Morena kicked PRI’s elite to pieces

July 4th, 2018

The currently dominant party was left out with only 23 municipalities, 1 local district, 3 federal districts in addition to its correspondent proportional deputies and the Del Mazo’s government.

The ballot from the past 1st July shattered the PRI’S domains before Morena all over the country. Particularly in the State of Mexico where it could only afford to win 3 districts and lost 62 from the 85 municipalities that were in charge of and only 1 out of 45 local districts.

Furthermore, the PRI’s cabinet for the Senate headed by Cesar Camacho Quiroz and Alejandra Del Moral lost in front of Delfina Gomez e Higinio Martinez from Morena.

At the close of the Preliminary election results (PREP) with 92% of voting booths computed, Morena’s candidate for the presidency of Toluca obtained 157 thousand 640 votes (many form bureaucrats) in favor to Juan Rodolfo Sanchez Gomez.

At the same time, the mythical indigenous professor and former leader of SMSEM obtained only 78 thousand 944 votes in front of the 124 thousand 238 votes of Gerardo Pliego Santana.

In Atlacomulco –homeland of high-profile governors like Isidro Fabela and Enrique Peña Nieto-the AMLO phenomenon hammered the PRI’s lineage by achieving a ballot of 23 thousand 527 votes for José Martín Roberto Tellez Monroy versus 14 thousand 200 votes for his rival Joel Huitrón Colín, whilst the PRD-PAN-MC candidate achieved only 5 thousand 622 votes.

In federal elections the Sunday’s carnage wiped out with the PRI militancy in the State of Mexico since it only won 3 out of 41 federal electoral districts: I form Jilotepec by Ricardo Aguilar, IX from San Felipe del Progreso by Eduardo Zarzoza and XXXVI from Tejupilco de Hidalgo by the former deputy Juvenal Cruz Roa.

With regards to the Senate election for the State of Mexico, the former governor Cesar Camacho Quiroz and the former PRI leader Alejandra Del Moral also went belly-up.

Delfina Gómez and Higinio Martinez obtained 3 million 29 thousand 982 votes against 1 million 545 thousand 26 votes for the PRI’s formula and 1 million 559 thousand 126 votes in favor of PRD and PAN candidates Juan Zepeda and Fernanda Rivera respectively.

A summary of the damage will continue…
