The government of Ecatepec initiated the notification to more than 198 centers and commercial squares of the municipality about the obligation to grant 30 minutes of free parking to its customers, as established by the 2020 Municipal Band, promulgated on February 5.
Mayor Fernando Vilchis Contreras said that about 100 articles of the new Municipal Band were modified to generate order and security for the benefit of citizens. The staff of the Economic Development Directorate of Ecatepec visited different shopping centers to give their representatives a reminder to comply with article 112 of the Municipal Side, which orders to grant 30 free minutes of parking to their customers.
The reform to this article was promulgated on February 5 with the publication of the Municipal Band 2020, although there are still managers of establishments that do not know the measure or refuse to apply it; Therefore, the municipal authorities decided to personally notify the provision in order to expedite the process.
