The United Nations Development Program (UNDP), made 21 general and 24 particular observations to the government of the State of Mexico, on the “Pink Salary” program, conceived as a social policy, to combat poverty, to remunerate the work at home carried out by the poorest women - in theory - of the State of Mexico.
It should be clarified that the Mexican government hired UNDP (for 3.5 million pesos) to evaluate the “DESIGN” of the Pink Salary Program, but not its operational application in the field, which has been severely questioned by various political actors, since it is considered a program that seeks to win “adepts” in favor of the PRI.
Among the most important observations made by the organism could be highlighted its lack of transparency in the access and conformation of the beneficiary standards; the "use of inadequate data" - notes the document - and the lack of "justification" sufficient, since its conception.
It is also indicated that it lacks a “guiding document” and it is necessary to identify the diagnoses of the group of programs from the approach, which hinders an articulated approach to it, the results indicate.
“Likewise, the weaknesses to identify the causes and consequences of the problems addressed to prevent the programs from clearly recognizing the solutions to the violation of rights faced by priority attention groups. Consequently, the strategy has not been able to fully translate the actions of the programs into the areas of competence of the units involved.
