Municipal employees began the repair of Manuel Avila Camacho avenue corner with Toluca street, in the aforementioned neighborhood, where a 10 meter wide and six-meter deep sinkhole was formed, a hole that constituted a risk to citizens.
Ecatepec authorities announced that they will file a criminal complaint, as the company hired by the previous municipal administration placed hydraulic concrete apparently without using appropriate materials and techniques, which led to subsidence in the community, which records seven holes, one of which was already rehabilitated and the others are in process.
Juan Herrera Moro, director of the Ecatepec Drinking Water, Sewerage and Sanitation System (Sapase), reported that many drains in the municipality fulfilled their useful life and are currently deteriorated, resulting in undercuts, so the municipal government began the rehabilitation of the affected roads.
