Power to the Center

Baz Ferreira leaves office, José Vilchis wants it… There are two sides of the coin; The biggest challenge now will be to completely break the connection channels between the control systems and the current political system

The resignation of Fernando Baz Ferreira of the Órgano Superior de Fiscalización del Estado de México (OSFEM), represents an enormous step to advance in the fight against impunity, in the face of the massive looting of public resources through different ways and forms, of the that apparently, the auditor did not see, nor knew anything.

Although this looting intensified during the government of Eruviel Avila, with beginnings in the government of Enrique Peña Nieto when he practiced here (between 2005 and 2011) his firsts signs of basic corruption, the auditor in a decade remained impassive, carefree for the impunity he knew, covered him and provided him with his high command from the Government Palace, the president in turn of the JUCOPO and even the Judiciary itself.

In this way Baz Ferreira leaves as one of the worst examples of when a public server renounces basic ethical principles and yields by press or not to the seduction of the power groups wich endorsed at the polls or without them, continue even if we don´t like it, operating under the same logics of concentration of resources and control and coerción.

Until next time.
