Anti-corruption program starts in Ecatepec with Call Center

The Government of Ecatepec, headed by Mayor Fernando Vilchis Contreras, launched the Municipal Anti-Corruption Program, with the entry into operation of a call center for citizen complaints and the creation of a citizen brigade of inspectors. Through the municipal system public servants will be constantly trained in accountability, as well as providing them with labor, institutional and economic incentives in order to avoid bad practices.
It also inaugurated the Call Center of the Comptroller (call center) to receive complaints about irregularities in the performance of municipal workers. This center began to operate with eight lines linked to the telephone number 59850600 and will be operating from Monday to Friday from 07:00 to 22:00 hours. However, it is planned to expand it to a 24-hour shift seven days a week .
