When dictating the conference "Citizen Participation of Persons with Disabilities and Older Adults in the State of Mexico", in the Faculty of Nursing of the Autonomous University of the State of Mexico (UAEMex), the electoral official said that during the elections of 776 people with disabilities, officials of the Councils of Administration of Casilla taken care of in all the country.
He said that 31,782 voters who carried crutches or clubs went to the polls on the day of the election; 20 thousand 659 that used wheelchairs and 15 thousand 444 that showed visual disability, that is to say, that they had a visible disability, although the participation of those who presented some disability not visible as auditory, language, mental or intellectual was not counted.
