Odín Dupeyron returns to Toluca
This August 31st Odin Dupeyron’s play, LUCAS, will take place in Teatro Morelos at 20:00 hrs. LUCAS is the most recent Odin’s play with a mysterious plot that we will discover throughout its development.
A promoter, Omar Albino, was consulted about this play here is what he said: “Odin Dupeyron is one of the greatest exponents of personal growth workshops. He has other plays which highlight his work, such as “Veintidós Veintidós” and “¡A vivir!”.
“A lot of people are attracted by his work and it nearly fills all his presentations (around 95 to 96 percent of tickets are sold) and he also has a very loyal public, his plays are not to watch only once in a lifetime”.
Lucas is a renowned plastic artist who rents a room in his best friend’s penthouse. Then, doing an everyday activity, something fantastic happens during the night which will make a big change, not their lives.
If you truly want to know about his job, you must see it or read it, Dupeyron has not only plays, he also writes stories. A very good example to start knowing his work is “Not the end”, available in a lot of libraries, also it can be read by almost anyone.
Medias and Dupeyron himself don’t reveal what the play is about, he really wants you to live the experience, to think and breathe as the characters are doing it in that moment that is what makes his work really special, he involves you, he motivates you to take it and live it.
With topics not for people under 12, the play will be shown next week on Friday at 8:00 p.m. in Teatro Morelos, located in Lerdo de Tejada corner with Pedro Ascencio C.P. 50130, in Toluca, State of Mexico.
