Representatives of opposition accused some counselor members of the Electoral Institute of State of Mexico of deliberate omission on the basis of the violence wave and electoral offenses that came before this Sunday polling in which Congress and 125 municipalities will be voted.
During the permanent session inaugurating the election day, Alfonso Bravo –PAN representative reviewed aggressions and electoral violence against candidates and his respective electoral campaign- Tenancingo, Jocotitlán, Valle de Bravo, Metepec, Toluca, Otzolotepec, Axapusco, Zumpahuacán, San Martín de las Piramides, La Paz, Almoloya de Alquisiras, and lastly Donato Guerra with civic aggressions - without any intervention from authorities but a tepid appeal to well behave.
For its part PRD through its representative, Javier Escalona denounces that some of their militants were gunned down and 4 of them are dead whilst other 7 injured in a manner that he rejected the official statements which claimed it to be a third-party dispute and was dismissed. He also agreed with other parties’ representatives such as Efren Ortiz form Nueva Alianza and Joel Cruz form PT who pointed out the return of old trickery from opposition employed to coercing votes and defraud citizenship. In the other hand, Israel Montoya defended his party (PRI) accusing his opponents of discrediting the electoral authorities.
In turn Ricardo Morena Bastida – Morena representative who was attacked by a rabble of PRI supporters this Saturday at a Toluca’s café- pointed out the federal importance of this events and assured that Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador and his coalition is about to become president but it’s not mere casualty; in his words: ‘what we’re about to consummate comes from the constant struggle of many partners. This victory will not only transform hope into action but also is going to face up with immorality and lately decadence of society.
Surprisingly, Pedro Zamudio- IEEM president- merely appealed to all citizens to vote this Sunday; the same as his partners.
