Operation report "Culiacán", arrest and release of Ovidio

October 30th, 2019

The Mexican government presented this Wednesday during "the morning", a comprehensive report of the violent events that occurred on October 17 in Culiacán Sinaloa, with the balances of the failed operation, the timeline with the most relevant criminal aggressions recorded in that day and even videos that show the son of El Chapo, Ovidio Guzmán Loera, when he is arrested, he gives up and orders his subordinates to “stop everything… I don't want any more ruthlessness”, he tells them; for later he would be released.

In the report presented by the head of the Attorney General's Office, Alfonso Durazo Montaño and then the head of SEDENA, General Cresencio Sandoval González, together with President López Obrador, a timeline is marked, since when extradition is requested of Ovidio by the United States government, in April of this year, until October 17, when he is arrested by the armed forces, and released, about three hours later, to the threats of further attacks against the civilian population, by the criminals who were massively summoned.
