Mexican authorities hired refrigerated trailers to preserve the corpses of people who have died in the entity's hospitals, by COVID-19 and as a measure of support for the patients' families, when they decide to cremate the bodies and especially in view of the saturation that they present funeral services in the metropolitan area of ​​the Valley of Mexico and the capital of Mexico.

So far, and upon reaching 60 days of health contingency, the State of Mexico is the second entity hardest hit by the new virus pandemic, after Mexico City, with eight thousand 556 accumulated cases and 735 deaths, according to an Official nightly report of this May 18, from the Secretary of Health.

So far, the municipalities with the highest number of deaths are Ecatepec (43); Ixtapaluca (38), Valle de Chalco (37), Chimalhuacán (29), Atizapán de Zaragoza (27), Nezahulacóyotl (22) and Tlalnepantla, with an equal amount. In the case of the Toluca Valley, 16 deaths are reported so far; in Metepec, five, the same as in Zinacantepec and two in Almoloya de Juárez.
